Not knowing what to do now, Demi rummages her hand into her pouch that she is carrying around with her. She isn't used to talking to anyone, even to her friends since she had lead her solitary life for so long until she found Alex and Alicia on one of her travels. Because of this, she still felt awkward travelling with many people around her. After she had found what she needed, she pulled it up and looked at the book with strange rune markings on its cover. As old as it is, the book was one of the very few things that she still hold on to her after she had escaped from her home town. She still remembered how she found it when she was just a 5 year old girl playing with her teddy bear at her father's study room before the others knew about her dark secrets. She shook her head, trying not to remember about the painful memories there.

Opening the book and looking at its contents, the text consists of ancient words which seemed completely alien to humans, elves and even the demons themselves. Even her own mother can't decipher the text. However, when she opened it for the first time, she completely understood everything she read in book, as though she already knew the language itself. Her father's book that only she can understand makes it one of Demi's most precious possessions. As soon as she began reading it, she is completely in her own world, oblivious to everything around her.

"I wish I could at times but... it was just so hard to do..."

Alicia jerked her thumb towards the looming castle walls in the distance. "Do you know that some of the royal items such as jewelries that are in other countries (including Rayelna) actually belong to my people? That include the King's crown and some statues in the palaces. Look at that wall section, that was built from rocks from my castle. There's nothing we can do, since history is written by the victors."

She continued sadly:
"Help? Help from whom? Almost everyone were slaughtered. Even children and womenfolk. If you had been in my position back then, it was easy to see entire river streams filled with blood, and flesh hanging on trees branches. Pieces of the dead such as cartilage,bones and brains were strewn on the road, still fresh from the kill. It was pure carnage and destruction. It shudders me to think of that horrible, horrible day. There is no honor. No Gods that help us."

"Perhaps, what does not kill us, serve to make us stronger. I came from a hardened race. In times of war, we would choose to die by the sword. However, even through we were a battle hardened race, we fail to recognize the threat from within ourselves. We were deceived. Thus, we paid the blood price that day. As for myself, I learn something different. Something very different. I realized I could start using my latent abilities. I have done things that should not be said.... "

Taking a sip of water from an leather worn out water bottle, Alica continued:

"I don't think I was strong emotionally after my father was killed. I did broke down, crying. However, it became clear. Kill or be killed. Now, about that dragon of yours; could she speak our language or use any spells? I know this, is becuase, your sword is different. Very different. "




Demons. They seem to provide me great amusement from their guessing games. Hide and seek. Even the girl in the hood,Demi seem to have secrets...
But what's more strange is this orb. This woman in the mirror... has she seen all our true intentions? I have never believed in destiny... I only trust my wits and weapon... it never fails me. Also, how does this woman Felicity is in relationship to all these mockery? Has Liz or Sora received some sort of God fore telling? Is that it?! No clues or so ever?! What is this ?!

Xander and his team members are probably around somewhere hiding, but I can't do anything... yet.

Something is coming. And it won't be nice.
